What does it cost to sell my unwanted goods on eBay through CCB?

CCB does not charge you anything upfront to list your item on eBay!!
CCB’s upfront no charge service includes:

  • an indication of its value
  • professional copywriting and research
  • 7 day listing with no reserve
  • Gallery photo and up to 8 photos of your item

Once your item sells, CCB deducts both its commission and eBay and Pay Pal fees before sending you a CHEQUE for the balance!
(Or you can donate your proceeds to a charity of your choice)

1. CCB Commission

  • 35% on sales up to £500
  • 20% on the remaining amount (over £500)

CCB charges a minimum commission of £5.00 per item Special quotes for items estimated to sell at more than £5,000. The minimum perceived value of items should be £35. CCB will ask customers whose items do not reach £35 in auction to donate their full proceeds to their charity sponsors - Holy Trinity Church and Elizabeth House.

2. eBay fees

There are 2 components of eBay fees: - Listing and a final sales price % as follows: -

Listing fees

£0.20 £1.00 - £4.99 opening bid auctions
£0.35 £5.00 - £14.99 opening bid auctions
£0.75 £15.00 – £29.99 opening bid auctions
£1.50 £30.00 - £99.99 opening bid auctions
£2.00 £100 and above opening bid auctions

Plus a final sales price % as follows: -

  • 5.25% of the first £29.99
  • 3.25% of the next £599.99
  • 1.75% of the remaining amount over £600.00

3. Pay Pal fees (Pay Pal is the secure payment process operated by eBay)

**Special Price Service

If you want to set either

  1. a reserve price

  2. a “buy it now” (fixed) price

  3. a starting bid price

We would be happy to set this price for a £20.00 pre paid non refundable fee plus 1% of the reserve price.
If the item sells the 1% reserve fee is refundable. If it does not sell, you may re-list the item again.
